CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

I became qualified to provide CBT therapy in Swindon in 1999 and continue to place this technique at the centre of how I help clients to this day. Together we will look at negative thought patterns that contribute to your low mood and use a structured process to challenge these unhelpful interpretations and, over time, replace them with more rational, positive thoughts.

For more information on how I can help you with compassionate CBT therapy and counselling in Swindon or online, take a look at my About CBT page.

Initial Consultation

I understand that reaching out for face-to-face counselling in Swindon can be daunting, especially if you are doing it for the first time. But you have no need to worry; I make the process as easy as possible. You are free to have a no-cost, no-obligation 30-minute initial consultation with me over the phone before committing to further sessions.

This gives you a chance to ask any questions you might have about CBT therapy, couples counselling, or other areas you wish to know about. I will also briefly walk you through how I work, and we can then decide whether we’d be a good fit for each other. There is no pressure on you continue working with me if you don’t want to.

My Location

If you would like face-to-face counselling in Swindon, I work in a private, cosy ground-floor practice room close to the city centre on Curtis Street – just a 10-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of parking available and good links to public transport. Whether you are looking for CBT therapy, solution-oriented counselling, couples therapy, or help with a specific problem like substance abuse, it serves as a peaceful oasis where you can speak freely and receive the exact help you need. I serve clients from surrounding areas such as Royal Wootton Basset, Highworth, Crickdale, and Faringdon.

Online sessions are of course also available for those who don’t live in the Swindon area, can’t travel, or simply don’t want to do face-to-face counselling and feel more comfortable doing CBT or couples therapy over Zoom.

Pricing & Session Length

Individual Therapy (50 minutes) – £50

Couples Therapy (50 minutes) – £70

Please note that I also have a limited number of slots for low-income clients, so please get in touch with me to discuss this.
